Day 1 - The Sunrise
The SUNRISE over the snow capped mountains in Northern Iran
… I saw my beaming tour guide Nadia waving enthusiastically. Both flights were quick and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the SUNRISE over the snow capped mountains in Northern Iran. Nadia and I both took a quick nap at our hotel, The Mahmonir House, which is a beautifully maintained traditional house with an interior courtyard and a terrace to enjoy a bit of tea and sunshine. After a home cooked breakfast, the group went to the stunning 5-Star Zandiyeh Hotel located right outside the old city walls…
DAY 2 IN IRAN PERSIAN FOOD
It was eye opening in many ways and will surely be one of the standout memories I take away from Iran.
The chef, Ava, was gracious and incredibly happy to have us, welcoming us with fresh tea and a warm smile. Her kitchen was well stocked with 30 or more spices and tea mixes contained in matching jars, beautiful pottery and flatware, an industrial gas stove and the most exquisite, delicate vintage tea set I have ever seen (an heirloom from her Mother)!
DAY 3 IN IRAN
Come in the morning when the light is just starting to pass through the windows and you will be treated to a spectacular show of light and color!
